Do you have any wolves around ski areas in New Englanda It may be a stupid question, but I am a very keen skier but does not have tracks in Japan and here in Australia. Love wolves, but at the same time, I'm petrified of them, and I know the main trails mountain resort would not wolves. Or would theya They are certainly in the right areaa
The short answer is: there are no wolves in New England
Long answer: There may be wolves who have drifted over the peninsula of Michigan, but meet one to one ski area would be like meeting a red kangaroo in the middle of the shopping center in Melbourne, or a platypus on the beach.
there are plenty of moose and bear but Flag
All ski areas have a lot of wolves in cougars as well, both are type 2 legs. As for type 4 feet these are wild animals in general have a fear of humans in groups and leave the area that skiers arrive. In 50 + years of skiing I've never seen any sign of wolves you are concerned. Solo skiers on the slopes skiing may be more concerned about cougars (4 type leg) because some states have banned the hunting of cougars. They are now beginning to lose their fear of humans and hunted down and killed people over the past 20 years. Rarely is it in the snow since the hunter has trouble running in deep snow.
The wolf population in New England is very low. It may not even be a breeding population in all the autonomous region currently. There will probably be because it is part of their natural habitat as a protected species, they have returned, but currently there is no problem.
Moreover, the vast majority of wolves are very afraid of humans. Even when they are bred and fed by people, only about a wolf in a generation approach people willingly.
In other words, I would not worry about it. I lived in New York my whole life on the edge of New England. Although I do not ski well, I would have heard of a wolf attack and I've never heard of one ever in my life.
Only werewolves:)
urmm yes they are everywhere in New England, but they are older comon England. hahaa
