He is a player very far from London, so I recommend train or plane.
Planes go to Newquay (approx 50 min) from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stanstead and then bus to Port Isaac.
I do not know what station railway might be better Newquaya
find the nearest town, then go to www. nationalrailenquiries.co.uk. Enter the departure station and destination (city). It gives you the time, many changes, and cost.
Paddington in London, Bodmin. Getting to Port Isaac, I do not know, but it is sure to be a bus from there ... Taxi is about £ 35 ...
Bodmin to Port Isaac ... 17 miles ..
Etc. Call the hotel where you want to stay, and ask how to get away from Bodmin.
Have a good time and enjoy the scenery ....... :-)
