How to freeze dried foods in Mountain House Thrive comparea Costco has a huge sale on offer a year of self-sufficiency "Thrive" freeze dried food for $ 799. Mountain House quantative comparable food would more than double that price.
Mountain House are generally considered in the best you can get. Has anyone tried the brand prospera
I am LDS. Mountain House is considered the best. Thrive is not something I was exposed, or have no experience with.
I never knew Costco to carry a poor quality product though. I too have been a consultant to the retail price at Costco.
Personally, I would be willing to take a chance on products Thrive (but only because I TUST Costco to offer a good product). However, I would not put all my eggs in one basket. Suppliment your storage of food products with others you know and trust. I must say that if ... I take a chance on some points. I would not pay for the canned corn, salt, sugar, rice, beans, legumes and oats. I can pack into five buckets gallon mylar bags and me much less.

Provident Pantry is also a quality product:

I think Mountain House, Provident Pantry, and successful companies are all owned by LDS. Outside the church itself, just that people who own these businesses are LDS. All three must be quality products.
