Hotels in Londona I am heading over to London in three weeks and looking for a decent hotel close to all sites of the London Eye, Tower of London, Madame tusauds etc. .. and also easy access to Heathrow!
Anyone suggestions. 3 and 4 star hotels!
If you want to be in central London and Heathrow to travel easily, so I definetely recommend booking a hotel near Paddington. It is very central, walking distance to Mayfair and Piccadilly, Hyde Park and Oxford str, but it can also take you to Heathtrow in 30 minutes as a train moves from Heathrow Express to Paddington station every 15 minutes. Here are some examples of hotels in the area (just google the name).
4 stars
The Grand at Trafalgar Square
Staunton Hotel (Gower Str)
Bonnington Hotel (Southampton Online)
Radisson Edwardian Grafton
Hotel Saint Georges (w1)
Quality Crown Hotel Paddington
Hilton London Paddigton
Royal Park Hotel
3Stars
Place Strand (Strand)
Royal Cambridge Hotel
Norfolk Plaza Hotel
Olympic House Hotel
Nayland Hotel HSD
Beverley House Hotel
The Shaftesbury Premier London Paddington
Chrysos Hotel
The Strand Palace is really nice. I think its 4 stars. his right to Covent Garden (on the strand course) and is 5 minutes from Trafalgar Square, about 15 minutes away from Big Ben London Eye / / Thames etc. (although there is a shortcut through the Sidestreet that gets you there at 5). its really nice.

Without knowing your budget it's hard to recommend.
If your ready to use the train / subway, most of London is easy to get through Heathrow.
I suggest you go to www.londontown.com and compare hotels there. They do deals very well, I use them whenever I stay in London. If I'm not quite sure to look at their web page, I give a call to book. You get the same discount online and they are very friendly and helpful.
Hope thats a help,
Ok Hotels.Com research on Best Western Corona Hotel is very nice.I they stayed there and it was really cool.I suggest you take the Metro (Subway AKA Metro)
www.tripadvisor.co.uk see there are examinations of the existence of people who stayed in hotels. to be easy to get from Heathrow, you can search for hotels near Paddington station (where the Heathrow Express terminates) or along the route of the Piccadilly line (which is the underground line from Heathrow in the city)
U going to say exactly the same answer that BLT .... best place is the road of Sussex Gardens, Paddington very close ... its route is very long with lots of b & b in it .... u can get the Heathrow express to Paddington station and it takes just 15 meters .... it is very close to Madame etc. ... tusads Oxford st ...

Heathrow has good transport links in an area so do not worry too much about this issue. Visit the following sites for travel around London:
