Hello. I live and work in Livigno. It depends if you rent a car or public transport. From Malpensa airport, you should take a taxi or a shuttle to Milano Centrale train station and go to Tirano. There are several stops, and the journey can be very slow. Tirano you can take a bus to Bormio - then take another in Livigno. If you fly to Zurich airport, you can take the bus to Zernez (I'm not 100% positive, though), then take the bus to Livigno. You must remember that the last bus to Bormio Livigno are in the early afternoon. There is a shuttle that runs from Malpensa airport to Livigno, but it only works a few times a day. Time table for the look www.airporttransfer.it or send an e-mail to info@airporttransfer.it. You can also take a taxi if you want, but it's a bit expensive. A taxi from Malpensa airport to Livigno for 1-3 people costs about 300 .- Euros per person one way. A taxi from Zurich airport to Livigno for 1-3 people costs about 320 .- Euros per person one way. There are several taxi services in Livigno, but most of them have roughly the same price. One of them is a taxi service Renzo Confortola. www.taxilivigno.it or info@taxilivigno.it. Or you can rent a car and drive. Both Milan and Zurich are about 300-320 km from Livigno. The reader should be about 2 1 / 2 to 3 hours time. Remember that some of the passes are closed in winter. For example, Passo dello Stelvio and Passo della Forcola are closed in winter. The Passo Munt Schera is open only during a certain time of day, and ends at 8:00 p.m.. For better information you can contact the tourist information office of Livigno. APT (Tourist Office Livigno): @ www.livigno.eu....info livigno.eu. They speak several languages (eg, Italian, English, German, French ...). To schedule Munt La Pass Schera www.livigno.eu go to web-site and click Drossa The Tunnel .... schedules are written in several languages. Wel, I hope not to confuse you too much, and enjoy your trip.

Better Milan Malpensa and rent a car. Journey by car will take about 4-5 hours. the itinerary is as follows: Milan Malpensa>> Lecco> Colico (end of motorway)> Sondrio> Bormio> Livigno. it is better to have too much snow chains, because the road from Bormio Livigno is a mountain road with a 2200m peak on the sea level.

by public means, I think it is quite impossible (or rather it will take a very long time).
