No matter what size, can not beat a Honda. They are not cheap, but they are quiet. Depends what you want to run. general purpose lights for baseload electricity, fan, anything that heats or cools 1kw will work. If you want to cook and cool, you'll need a genny 3kw. If quiet is what you want, go with the flow of answers your question, Honda is the only way to go. It is not far behind.

ENOUGH Yes you could do better than Honda, they are very strong. I do not think there are many like quite like a Honda altogether.
