Les Gets Ski

I want to take some 2 way radios out there skiing when I go to my friends and I can stay in touch when we split up or go do our own things around the station. I saw two way radios with a range of 5 miles but I do not know if it will be wide enough for the resort.
Does anyone know what kind of milage square it coversa

Beach 5 miles can be pretty good. You must remember that the range in both directions is not even on the mountain. Many barriers that limit the line of sight. I have owned 5-mile and 10 mile range radios. The 10 Milers were higher. In cities most stations, I could still get a signal from my friends who were still on the slopes when I was at the hotel. Since 10 mile radios are not much more you can spend a little was good money for them anymore.

5 miles is pretty good. itll cover all of it.
