Kelty I found to be slightly over-rated and over priced. What put me off Kelty was when I was shopping for a backpack, found one that had all the features I wanted at a price of $ 300. Then I discovered that it was built so that the block weighed 8 1 / 2 pounds empty. Find almost the same features on another pack for $ 89 that weighed less than 3 1 / 2 pounds and lasted 4 seasons. If you are looking for a sleeping bag you might want to check Marmot. Several people I know, and myself, have used Marmot bags for years and found them superior. I wear a Marmot 0 degree bag and slept without a tent single digit temperatures, naked, without even zipping the bag, I use it as a blanket.
