Is Hunter Mountain (NY) ski resort propertya yes, but not as good as bristol
For a station is not in the Rockies or Vermont, it is quite decent. It can be quite crowded on weekends though because it is the station nearest major city, but it is a good place to learn.
Hunter is a great place to ski mid-week and during the winter months. Weekends are very crowded and I avoid going there at that time cost ALL. ski-season, it is brief. The west side of the mountain is often closed, and that some of the best golf. Although Hunter has a manufacturing operation of heavy snow, a large number of tracks experts are not those with artificial snow, so they tend to get ice and may have many bare spots. The good news is that Hunter is very inclined to leave things open, although there are large bare areas. In April, we had to descend 300 feet from the elevator to get to the snow on the slopes and more than take our skis to get in some of the tracks bump further down the mountain.
I agree with Floyd and Willie. Hunter has great ground (for upstate New York). But do not go on a weekend.
If you're willing to travel, nothing in northern VT is good, or Gore, NY is also good if you ski on a weekend.
