Hostel PisaAn adventure of a lifetime ..

I never took the time to write this story down, now that I'm getting a craving for adventure once again I thought I'd tell my last great adventure vehicle. There were several country, my cousin, and a Peugeot.

Route:

Some years ago I got tired of the rat race, the newspaper of being a drone in an office and all I loved the work and the industry, I needed time off. I earned good money working as the director of special projects for restoration parts big business here in Southern California. However, after four years, it was time for a vacation monumental. So I quit my job, kissing my fiancee (now wife) goodbye, and left for Europe. With a little over a rough plan, a roadmap and a hastily arranged a short term lease with Peugeot Open Europe, "I landed in London to meet my young cousin Nathan, who has recently completed a program Student exchange in the United Kingdom and was not excited to go home immediately.

I spent a few days in London while we have made arrangements to travel to France where Souther our new Peugeot had to be delivered. London is so much amazing history, from Romans to WWII all over London offering a glimpse of lost time, while the ultra modern buildings like the Gherkin give a foretaste of things to come. From the Los Angeles area where everything is rebuilt every 20 years, it was interesting to see the old buildings still pockmarked from London by German bombs. I could go on and on about the British Library, the Tower of London, etc ... but it is a history of the car to return. We decided to take our brand new Peugeot 206sw in Montpellier, southern France, and after a quick flight on Ryan Air for about $ 50, we were in sunny southern France.

It was a very good idea because there is nowhere on earth I could not imagine being more beautiful than the Cote d'Azur ... Italy prove me wrong. Landing in France, we get the typical customs delays, and make a phone call to contact Peugeot Open Europe which was our meeting with the car. Very polite young man directed us to the car, I now look very sinister Nathan confirmed with the representative of Peugeot that the lease included "unlimited mileage", he nods, I think he knew that the resale of this car would be slightly affected by the number of miles that we put on the car. In Europe, I discovered the average car travels less than 8,000 miles a year is just under 5,000 miles per year. In California, my home country we drive an average 15,000 miles per year, more than 24,000 km. Nathan and I had laid out an ambitious course that we can cover nearly 18,000 km in just 21 days because all of Europe had to offer before running out of money and retire to London.

We were off, since Nathan had lived i n London and had done some traveling in Europe already, so I had him make arrangements for our first night. We decided to head straight to Barcelona (Spain), and when we're theirs, a street fair was going on, the panels were mounted on the sides of buildings away from view, the Peugeot is barely able to move between all the revelers crowding in the streets. The hotel chose Nathan has a strange name for Arab resonance in Spain, but right now, I wonder why the car is brilliant. I can say.
