I am looking for a studio apartment 1 bedroom apartment in Tenerife to stay for a few months, all i have looked on vacation rentals are i try something like £ 300 (£ 200 per week!) - £ 400 per month, anyone know of a company or dealing with thata

Try Belgaten - they are based in Los Cristianos (if you google, you will find their website). They are very helpful and I used them when I lived in Tenerife. I found a great apartment in Parque Tropical through them (a single bed for 700 euros per month).
Try the Horizon property group - they have lots of contacts, if you can not find what you want through them.
You can find apartments for 500 euros per month, but these are generally not very nice people and you will be looking at about 600-700 euros for a decent place.
