Rancocas Valley Regional High School is a public high school and regional school district serving students in grades 9 to 12 from five communities in Burlington County, New Jersey. The district encompasses approximately 40 square miles (100 km2) and includes the communities of Eastampton Township (394 students in the 2000 Census of Population 6202), Hainesport Township (234 students to 4,126 inhabitants), Lumberton Township (639 students to 10,461 inhabitants) , Mount Holly Township (567 students to 10,728 inhabitants) and Westampton Township (494 students to 7,217 inhabitants). The school is located in the Township of Mount Holly.
As the school year 2007-08, the district had a workforce of 2,338 students and 133.7 teachers (on an FTE basis), for a ratio of 17.5 studenteacher.
The school was the 242nd-largest public high schools in New Jersey of 316 schools statewide, in the history of New Jersey Monthly magazine in September 2008 on the cover above the state's secondary schools. The school was ranked 243rd in the magazine's September 2006 edition, which covered 316 schools across the state.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in the District Factor Group "DE", the fifth largest of the eight groups. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socio-economic characteristics of local neighborhoods. The socio-economic lowest to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

District Board of Education consists of nine members: two each from Eastampton, Lumberton, Mount Holly and Westampton, Hainesport and a member of.
The school
The school was built on the ruins of a private school for boys which was abandoned during the civil war. Mount Holly High School was founded in 1900, and after a vote to establish a Regional High School, Rancocas Valley Regional opened its doors in 1937.
Rancocas Valley High School offers a range of college preparatory, honors, Advanced Placement Program courses, commercial and industrial arts classes. New to the program this year is the Virtual High School (VHS). VHS allows students to access over 150 online courses, including veterinary medicine, DNA technology and AP Macroeconomics.
Rancocas Valley High School offers over 40 clubs and activities. The drama and music offers high-step.
