Heavenly Ski Resort

So I'm looking to fly in to ski Heavenly Ski Resort. heavenly site lists Reno and Sacramento both airports to enter. I try to find the cheapest ticket that looks like two and it would be by Sacramento ... how far is heaven Sacramento ... are there better alternatives to flya

depending on the snow and traffic it is about 2 hours to bag heaven.

On clear days (or when its not snowing) Sacramento is about 2 hours - 2 1 / 2 hours of Celeste (the station is in the area of South Lake Tahoe) and the Reno airport is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Heavenly. There is an airport in South Lake Tahoe, but there is no commercial air service to that airport. This airport serves only small aircraft and / or private.

If it snows and / or traffic is bad, then its going to take many more of these two cities. I sat in traffic while going to South Lake Tahoe for more than 4 hours.
