Google Driving Directions

Google Driving DirectionsNot show how MARKET Directions via Google Mapsa

Road signs are very good, but in a city of one way streets, where the aim is to walk from point A to point B, wanted to know if there is a way to show walking directions via google maps. Thank you.

There is no simple way to do that, I have not seen a feature that alternates between the two, the closest I've seen is the "no highway" option.

Well, if you were to zoom in (at least that's how to Mapquest), you can see the arrows on the way streets indicating the direction of traffic on this road in particular.

Hope this helps.

Not sure it will come back to Frank or not, but the answer to your question is google the following: google pedometer. It will display a link to a Google Maps hack that allows you to distance hiking map. Here's the link.

use driving directions, but walk instead of driving along the road

Try Ask Maps for walking directions: http://maps.ask.com

There's also Google Transit, but only for a small number of places: http://www.google.com/transit

For England, there http://www.walkit.com/

If they do not offer this, it will be a good idea to start thinking about it. Good Job!

You can get the branches and then use Google Earth to plot a path. Www.walkscore.com/ check to see how feasible is the place you're willing to go.

Google currently does not offer walking directions. I suggest using the mode of conduct, the impression, looking at the google map and then just note some direction changes. It should not be many changes.

You know what's funny thougha Google's directions like New York, NY London, England ... google will tell you to cross the Atlanic.
