We started looking for a cheap hotel in Barbados and ended up in the guest house called the most fabulous
Sea-U Guesthouse on the east coast of the island Tent Bay, St Joseph, Bathsheba.
If you have not heard of Bathsheba and then it is your loss, because it is halfway up the wild coast of eastern Barbados, well away from tourist sites in the south and west Barbados.

If you choose the Inn Sea-U Barbados accommodation what will it bea

A good description would be a tropical gem with beautiful tropical gardens and stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean. A beautiful and soothing Caribbean Inn is another description. The most apt comment by a customer to leave is to describe the whole experience at sea Guesthouse U, as a small corner of paradise.

Rooms simple and clean with a beautiful view and a couple of them even have their own hammock, with at least six hammocks between palm trees in the garden. One of the great joys has no television, clocks, radio or Internet, so you can relax in a hammock, listening to the waves crashing on the rocks, and enjoy the news you've been meaning to read all year. Note the windows have no glass means that you can sleep safe in your net, but conscious, sometimes other guests chatting on the porch outside.
Besides the rooms that are part of the main house there are three small cottage-style apartments in the garden, each with a kitchenette.

Bathsheba Beach is easily accessible, Bathsheba is beautiful, and almost tourist free, and you can walk for miles on the beach, which of course faces the Atlantic, there are many rocks, dangerous surf, so not very suitable for swimming. The landscape here is described as a wild beauty, but if you want to see the island and visit the most tourist beaches, and a four wheel drive would make sense, although some people had time to fine in a kind of buggy mini moke-type golf cart great. This is a hostel which relies heavily on the charm and helpfulness of the owner and Uschi staff to make your stay as part of a global family with a high quality service. One of the charms of the sea Guesthouse U is that it attracts people from all over the world. They all tend to be like minded people, who do not want a sanitized plastic Barbados, but want to feel part of the community. You'll hear many languages spoken, and there are strong friendships made.

A breakfast and a Bajan courseDinner three are served from the restaurant garden, and are both cheap and absolutely delicious, and the real taste of Barbados, served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere overlooking the ocean. Reservations are required for dinner, because dinner happens only if there are enough bookings. The slight drawback is the lack of restaurants in the immediate area, but to be fair centers in the south and west coast are less than an hour.
