What is the nearest airport backpackers Christchurch New Zealanda

I do not think there are close to the airport, they are all basically downtown. That's where you want anyway. The airport area is within walking distance of downtown and an expensive taxi to the closure of pubs. I stayed in some of them there and they are all pretty comparable in terms of quality. The right to Cathedral Square has a bad reputation, but if you have a room in the back (side of the square noisy), it is very good. You can easily take a city bus from the airport instead.

do not worry about the nearest hostel to the airport. There are shuttle buses that will take you to town. I just returned from a trip two months for Australia and New Zealand where I stayed in many many different hostels. My two favorites were the Base Backpackers I stayed in a special floor They called The Sanctuary, which is for girls only, which I loved.
