Camping Shower

Camping ShowerAhhh - A Camping Shower

A camping shower is a must have luxury when you're on the trail for days at a time. For some people the feeling of being dirty and unable to wash is enough to prevent them from going camping ever. Well, they do not need to worry about that. Now you can wash, no matter how deep in the woods you go, no matter how far from civilization you get.

There was a time that the only way you would get clean is to use the showers in a family campsite. Sure, they work, but you must be in place early enough to be able to get all the hot water and more than that, these places are usually a mess. I know I can not stand to walk in someone else's soapy water and dirty to be honest, I'm not convinced that this is not bad for your health to a certain level. Not to mention the lack of privacy and all that goes with it.

Of course, there is the possibility of seizing some biodegradable soap and just wash in the lake or river nearby, but it is not always practical either. If you're the kind of person who likes camp in spring or autumn, when there is less of a bug problem, you can count on the water very cold, very cold maybe, and that could lead to nothing you become hypothermic just catch a little cold. Maybe nothing will happen to you, but one thing is sure, you can not beat the comfort of a camping shower.

They are really nothing complicated and I'm surprised I did not see earlier that around in recent years. They are a plastic bag which is made of fairly thick plastic and tinted so black as he is a garbage bag. It has a spout on it and it will probably be a couple of gallons of water. The spout can be turned on and off at will. The idea is that you fill with water and hang in a nearby tree or place it on a rock so it can be heated by the sun while you do your thing. Even on a cooler day the sun heats the water at a temperature much better than a lake or river to offer.

At some point in the day when you figure the water has been sufficiently heated you simply hang in a tree, get wet, lather, then rinse. The best part is that if you understand a shower is not clean enough for you, you can bring two with you. heat them together and you should have more hot water than you need. They roll up in a nice little small package that you can take with ease.

These days you simply do not need to feel dirty when you're camping. I know that some feel that it is part of the charm, but with a camping shower, you can go anywhere someone wants to go even keep it clean.
