Bouganvilla

BouganvillaWhat is the best way to prune Bouganvillaa

We planted Bouganvilla to cover a bare wall outside our house. It has grown outward along the vines. What is the best way to carve out to make Bush and floweringa Should we find a structure and a cascade or can it develop as a large bush and bloom againa

Here's info on BOUGAINVILLEA pinching and pruning.

you do not always reduce it. bougainvillea will climb a wall or fence if you give them something to cling to. simply attach the bougainvillea and you will look fuller and it will look like it has more flowers.

attach to the back winding wire use these links as you find on the bread. you can buy large rolls from a Wal-Mart, Home Depot, K-Mart, or any other store with a gardening section.

when you attach them, to watch out for thorns because they can get to 3-4 cm long (and strong) on a former factory

If you insist on cutting it, you can reduce it as much as you want, it should continue to flourish and spread.
