Bangkok Hotelsa My wife and I and our two friends will travel to Bangkok on October 4. We intend to stay in Bangkok City Suite. Any advice on this hotela to what extent is the new airport, the airport Svarnabhumi.
Thank you.
Why do not you try the Hotel Pathumwan Princessa It is located next to one of the largest malls in Bangkok, Mah Boon Krung. The hotel is also close to light rail train stations. And I think it's just 45 minutes from the old airport (this is not new, sorry). Oh by the way, do not be fooled by the taxi TukTuk offering lower prices - when you arrive at your destination, you will be asked for triple the price they offered. Also, beware of those guys who offer sex shows these super cheap prices, they are the biggest con-men in the night market. Be sure to know the closest station to the mobile police. Thais do not speak English well, to better learn a few words for bargain prices. In addition, Thais revere their king, please do not disrespect him. And before I forget, if you plan to visit temples, wear socks and bring a small bag for your shoes, do not leave it behind, otherwise you'll go home and, least of shoes, sometimes. Bon voyage!
Another alternative is to stay in an apartment .. they are great, lots of room and is relatively cheap. President Park Bangkok (in different area) is great and I always advise people to stay there. Flag
New Suvarnabhumi Airport is 22 km from BKK
I just want to give Cham G 10 points. I intend to go to Thailand for the first time and those that are very solid advice.
Often when you travel it is not knowing what to do, but it does not do that makes the difference.
Cheap, clean and safe .... and usually includes a good breakfast buffet. Try the Hotel Malaysia. It is a gem of a negotiation.

Never heard of this hotel, but if it is in the city is about 25 minutes by car from the old airport. Does the new one will open by thena If so, add another 20 minutes by car.
On some sites in the book, a hotel, they allow users to post their experiences of the hotels they stayed in. Check out these sites for review.
do not know how this place is the new airport, but here are some comments thereon:

Do not stay anywhere away from the attractions. It is really difficult to travel by car in Bangkok. In fact impossible. Once, I need to go back to my hotel and told the taxi driver he just laughed at me and left! Traffic is horrible.
